I just wanted to spend a quick minute and say thank you to all of the veterans that are members of PRSA and the PRSA Northeast District. I appreciate and am humbled by your dedication, duty and sacrifice.
This is particularly true of many of the men and women serving as public affairs officers around the world. I am lucky enough to be friends with more than a few – and when I hear the stories of what they have to handle on a daily basis, I realize that too many of us throw around the words crisis and emergency too lightly.
Some of our military public affairs officers are also at the forefront of communications theory. The more I hear about communications synchronization the more intrigued I get. Plus many of you are the only ones that don’t look at me strangely when I talk about Schwerpunkt and public relations.
Thank you. We are in your debt.
